    How to Practice a Tree Meditation

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed at how your life is now and want to run away from your current life, but it’s important to recognize that escaping and starting over is not a sustainable solution to creating the life of your dreams.

    You are the center of your world. It is essential to make choices that align with your nervous system. Your sensitive nature has the ability to help you figure out what decisions are right for you at this time. Making drastic changes all at once can be overwhelming and even harmful to your well-being. That’s why it’s important to make small, conscious decisions over time that will eventually lead to a transformation into the life you have always dreamed of.

    Real change happens in the physical world, not just in the virtual world. It can be easy to sit back and look at social media and read content about the things that you want. Maybe you expect the virtual world to become reality as you sit behind a screen trying to make this your life. It is essential to make tangible, physical changes in your life that will enable you to meet your dreams and goals in a sustainable way.

    Real life happens in the real world. You will feel better making tangible changes in your lifestyle routine, not by just imagining the life of your dreams behind a screen. Interacting with people face-to-face in real time will help you to make these changes. Also incorporating more self-care practices, setting boundaries, and making time for the things that bring you joy will ensure real change can be made towards your dreams.

    How do I open my third eye chakra?

    The truth is, your third-eye chakra has been working for you ever since you were little. It knows when there’s something wrong in a situation. It knows how to tell you when something seems off. It allows you to step into someone else’s shoes and take their perspective. So, knowing that your intuition has been here all along still raises the question, how do I tap into my third eye intentionally? 

    Use your Intuition

    Affirmations are a great way to tap into this energy center. Especially for those who have tried meditation before, and it hasn’t seemed to be working. Affirming that you are connected to your intuition, and that you trust in the natural process of it opening will allow yourself to feel your connection to this center.

    Allow yourself to visualize. You can visualize anything– an object, a person, or even your past. What do you want your future to look like? What do you see yourself doing? Are you perceiving things clearly?

    What is Grounding?

    Grounding happens when we connect with the earth and nature. Doing this can help relieve stress and can enhance your connection to your circadian rhythm.

    It is when your body is in tune with nature in terms of digestion, and mentally connecting with the natural world around you. We all have felt grounding during quiet moments outside or while connecting with animals and plants.

    How to Ground Yourself

    Often people think of spending time in nature when the weather is nice. It can be difficult to do so when it is too cold outside. There is a way to still ground yourself without going outside!

    The answer is meditation and visualization.

    You can imagine yourself sitting at the base of a tree with the sun shining on your back.

    You can visualize yourself next to the ocean and hear the soft sound of waves on the sand.

    Imagine yourself in your favorite place in nature– wherever it is. This will help you to ground yourself.
